JOIN OUR TEAM!

SSi People fosters a collaborative, people-first culture, supported by exceptional Delivery and People Care teams. We invest in our employees’ personal and professional growth and provide the resources to build meaningful client relationships and achieve long-term success.

If you’re passionate about staffing, sales, and helping organizations solve workforce challenges, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

SSi People is seeking a U.S.-based Recruiter. This role is a high-impact, relationship-driven role at the heart of SSi People's delivery engine. You will work side-by-side with Account Executives who own client relationships with some of the country's most recognized companies—Fortune 100 and 500 organizations across banking, retail, energy, pharma, and beyond. Your role is to be their recruiting partner: fast, accurate, and deeply candidate-focused.

A typical day might include reviewing new requisitions from an AE, sourcing passive candidates on LinkedIn, conducting phone screens, preparing a shortlist for a client submission, and checking in with a consultant who recently started an assignment. No two days are the same, and that variety is part of what makes this role energizing.

You will thrive here if you are naturally curious about people, take pride in the quality of every candidate you present, and know how to act with urgency without sacrificing the candidate experience. SSi People's people-first culture means you are never just filling a req—you are helping someone find their next great opportunity.

This is a remote position with occasional onsite meetings and team gatherings at our Cranbury Township office.

Responsibilities

Account Executive, Client, and Candidate Support

  • Partner closely with Account Executives to understand client requirements, hiring timelines, and workforce needs, ensuring aligned and timely candidate delivery.

  • Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, ATS databases, referrals, and other creative sourcing strategies.

  • Screen and interview candidates to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and career goals; present well-matched, thoroughly vetted candidates to Account Executives and clients.

  • Manage candidates through the full recruitment life cycle, including resume formatting, interview preparation, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive candidates across core practice areas (IT, Engineering, Professional Services, Clinical).
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and VMS platforms to ensure compliance with client and company requirements.
  • Provide a white-glove candidate experience consistent with SSi People’s people-first values, including regular check-ins and proactive communication throughout the placement process.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to provide market intelligence, including compensation benchmarks, talent availability, and competitive insights.
  • Support diversity sourcing initiatives in alignment with SSi People’s commitment to building diverse, inclusive talent pipelines.
  • Meet and exceed individual activity metrics and placement goals as established with your manager.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of full-cycle recruiting or staffing experience, ideally within a staffing agency or RPO environment.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and placing candidates in IT, Engineering, or Professional Services roles.
  • Experience working alongside or in support of sales/Account Executive teams in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms (e.g., Bullhorn, JobDiva, or similar) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration with team members.
  • Experience working within a Vendor Management System (VMS) environment.
  • Familiarity with contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement staffing models.
  • Knowledge of technical skill sets and terminology across software development, cloud, cybersecurity, or engineering disciplines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

What Makes You Successful

The best recruiters at SSi People share a few common traits. They are relentless but respectful—they know how to create urgency without burning bridges. They are curious enough to ask the right questions and disciplined enough to follow through every time. Here is what we see in top performers:

  • You treat candidates like people, not profiles. You take the time to understand what someone actually wants from their next role—not just whether their resume matches a req.
  • You earn your Account Executives' trust by delivering quality, not just volume. You know a great shortlist of three beats a mediocre pile of ten.
  • You are a proactive communicator. Clients and AEs never have to chase you for updates—you get there first.
  • You stay organized under pressure. When you have 15 open reqs and a candidate going silent, you know what to prioritize and why.
  • You are metrics-aware without being metrics-obsessed. You track your activity because it helps you improve, not just because someone is watching.
  • You adapt quickly. Hiring landscapes shift, client needs change, and you adjust your approach without losing momentum.
  • You take ownership. When a placement does not go as planned, you debrief, learn, and come back stronger.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentive compensation.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
  • Fully remote work environment with a supportive, collaborative team culture.
  • Clear career growth pathways within a growing, people-first organization.
  • Access to cutting-edge sourcing tools and technology.
  • A mission-driven culture that values diversity—76% of SSi People consultants come from diverse backgrounds.
